About

Enveloping Shadows is a casual–yet progression-minded–raiding guild, made up generally of people who raid to unwind after work. We’re a mature group of folks that likes to have fun while we raid, collect loot, and kill bosses. We pride ourselves on being able to do in two compact nights of raiding what most guilds do in three or four.

After forming just before the launch of Wrath of the Lich King, we finished the expansion at 11/12 hardmodes and having completed the Glory of the Icecrown Raider 25 meta for the entire raid core. Other accomplishments include a heroic Halion 10 kill, and a Tribute to Insanity in ToGC 10. We consistently raided throughout the expansion, with only two speedbumps during changes in management.

All at the same time, we strive to have as much fun as possible while maintaining our edge. We have a huge raft of inside jokes and larger than life personalities, be it the singing Rogue who takes requests, the Ret Pally with a debatable repertoire of jokes, or dopey slogans like “Dooooomed!” and “20 minutes, tops.” None of this might make sense to an outsider, perhaps, but it’s an important part of the fabric of the guild and our easy-going personality.

Moreover, we’re not just a progression-minded raiding guild. We’re also a great community of folks that run daily heroics, pvp, battlegrounds, arena, the infamous Friday night drunken raids, and various old world content.
